Royal Bangs is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Ryan Sawyers (vocals, guitar), Chris St. Hilaire (guitar, vocals), Dan Wriggins (bass), and Andrew Black (drums). Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. Royal Bangs has released four albums to date, including "Flux Outside" (2013), "Let It Beep" (2016), and "We Breed Champions" (2019). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The National, and Interpol.
