Letter Day Story

Letter Day Story is a vibrant four-piece band from the Philippines that has been captivating audiences since their formation in 2002. Comprising Aldrick "Dex" Yu (vocals), John Oliver "Oli" Agustin (bass), Chrisanthony "Not" Vinzons (guitar), and Emil Joseph "Ej" Arabit (drums), the band emerged from the University of Santo Tomas, where their shared passion for music ignited their creative journey. Their name reflects their mission: "Letter" symbolizes the messages in their songs, "Day" refers to the everyday experiences they draw from, and "Story" embodies the narratives they share through their music.

After years of honing their craft, Letter Day Story gained significant recognition after winning the Nescafé Soundskool competition in 2008, leading to their debut album, *Sama-sama*, released in 2010 under Sony Music. With catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, their music blends alternative rock and pop punk influences, drawing comparisons to both Filipino and international acts. Tracks like "Ikaw Pa Rin" and their collaborations with artists like Yeng Constantino have further solidified their place in the music scene. As they continue to release new material, including their recent singles *Breakaway* and *Maiwang Mag-Isa*, they remain dedicated to creating music that resonates with their fans and captures the essence of everyday life.
