Emmanuel

Emmanuel is a celebrated Mexican singer who has been serenading audiences with his distinctive voice and romantic ballads since the late 1970s. Born Jesús Emmanuel Arturo Acha Martínez on April 16, 1955, in Mexico City, he is the son of the well-known Argentine singer Raquel Martínez and the bullfighter Raúl Acha "Rovira." Emmanuel's music career took off after participating in the OTI Festival in 1979. Known for his smooth vocals and passionate performances, he quickly became a household name throughout Latin America and among Spanish-speaking audiences globally.

Throughout his prolific career, Emmanuel has explored various musical styles ranging from pop and ballads to more rhythmic compositions with regional Mexican influences. His recent releases demonstrate a versatility and willingness to blend traditional holiday songs with his signature style, as seen in his renditions such as "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and "Emmanuel Jingle Bell Rocks." Emmanuel continues to captivate fans with his enduring charm, exemplified by his takes on classics like "La Llorona" and "Dónde Estás Corazón," while also delivering the nostalgia of Christmastime with "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Rodolfo el Reno." Even after decades in the music industry, Emmanuel's work maintains a contemporary feel while staying true to his roots, indicating his ability to transcend time with his artistry.
