Nick Heyward

Nick Heyward is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the frontman of the new wave pop band Haircut 100. Born on May 20, 1961, in Beckenham, Kent, Heyward's music career began in the early 1980s. With Haircut 100, he achieved significant success with hits like "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)" and the platinum-selling album *Pelican West*. After the band disbanded in 1983, Heyward launched a solo career, releasing his debut album *North Of A Miracle* in September 1983. This album was produced by Geoff Emerick, a renowned Beatles engineer, and received critical acclaim. Throughout his solo career, Heyward has released several notable albums, including *From Monday To Sunday*, *Tangled*, and *The Apple Bed*, which was released on Creation Records in 1998.
