GrooveTrap is a Bangladeshi funk band known for their unique blend of musical styles. Formed in 2007, the band's core members include Saif Quadir, Simin Saifuddin, and Jasper Al-Rashid. Their music combines elements of funk, acid jazz, rock, and pop, making them a standout in the Bangladeshi music scene, which was largely dominated by rock during the 2000s. Their debut self-titled album, released in 2008, showcased this eclectic mix, featuring tracks like "Ek Ochena" and "Osthir."
