Chika Inaoka is a renowned Japanese pianist born in Hyogo, Japan. She began her piano journey at the age of three and went on to graduate from Kyoto Horikawa High School of Music and Tokyo College of Music, specializing in Piano Performance. Her academic pursuits continued at Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, where she studied under Ok-Hi Lee and Prof. Rudolf Meister, completing her postgraduate studies with the highest honors in 2003 and her "Konzert Examen Solist Course" in 2005, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship.
Chika Inaoka is particularly noted for her work on Mozart's compositions, having released albums such as "W. A. Mozart Rondos & Sonatas" in 2017, which received critical acclaim. She has performed with various orchestras, including the Korean Chamber Orchestra and Stadttheater Hildesheim Orchestra, and has been a guest performer at numerous concerts, including the Baden-Württemberg New Year Concert. In addition to her solo work, she is also an active chamber musician and has explored period instruments like the fortepiano and clavichord. Since 2005, she has been a lecturer at Showa University of Music.
