Digão

Digão, born Rodrigo Aguiar Madeira Campos on November 20, 1970, in Sobradinho, Brazil, is a prominent musician best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the iconic rock band Raimundos. He initially started playing drums in the band when it was formed in 1987, but after facing hearing issues, he transitioned to guitar. His love for rock was heavily influenced by legends like the Ramones and Dead Kennedys. Since becoming the main vocalist after Rodolfo Abrantes left the band in 2001, Digão has been instrumental in shaping Raimundos' sound, which has been a significant part of Brazil's rock scene since the 1990s.

Alongside his work with Raimundos, Digão has explored various side projects, including the duo Denis & Digão. The band faced ups and downs over the years, including periods of separation and reunion, but Digão's passion for music has kept him active in the industry. With a series of recent releases like "Apenas Começando" and "Assedio Cultural," Digão continues to impress fans with his creativity and dedication to rock music.
