Chino Kidd

Chino Kidd, whose real name is Isaya Michael Mtambo, is a vibrant figure in Tanzania's music scene. Born and raised in Ifakara, Morogoro Region, he later moved to Dar es Salaam to pursue his passion. Initially a choreographer, Chino Kidd worked with notable artists like Rich Mavoko and Marioo before transitioning into music. He has become a sensation in the Bongo Amapiano genre, known for hits like "Zuma," "Gibela," and "Koko." His signature phrase, "Chino Wanna Man," has become synonymous with energetic dance tracks that reflect his deep connection to dance and music.

Chino Kidd's music reflects a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, often focusing on themes of life and dance. He has collaborated with numerous artists and has expressed a desire to create more opportunities for dancers in the Bongo Flava industry. His dream is to open a dance academy for talented youth.
