Babasónicos is an influential Argentine rock band that has been at the forefront of the Latin American music scene since their formation in the early 1990s. Originally hailing from Lanús, Buenos Aires, the group came together with Adrián Dárgelos (vocals), Diego Tuñón (keyboards), Mariano Domínguez (guitar), Diego Castellano (drums), Gabo Manelli (bass), and Rodrigo Castellanos (guitar). Their sound broke ground in Argentina, mixing elements of rock, pop, and electronic music, and they rapidly became associated with the "Sonic" movement in Argentina, which sought to innovate and defy mainstream trends.

Over the years, Babasónicos has continually evolved, cementing their status as icons of Latin rock with a discography that reflects their capacity for reinvention and commitment to artistic growth.
