Septage

Septage is a death metal/grindcore trio from Copenhagen, Denmark, formed during the COVID-19 pandemic by three veterans of the city’s underground metal scene. Comprising bassist Malik Çamlıca (Hyperdontia), guitarist Tobias Bendixen, and drummer/vocalist Ugur Yildirim (Taphos, Ascendency), the band specializes in raw, goregrind-infused death metal with a focus on short, chaotic tracks and guttural vocals. Their sound channels the filthy urgency of early Carcass, blending sewer-drenched atmospherics with bursts of visceral aggression across releases like their 2020 debut EP *Septic Decadence* and 2024’s debut full-length *Septic Worship* (issued via Dark Descent Records and others). Known for their murky production and lyrical fixations on bodily decay, Septage has cemented their reputation through splits like their collaborative release with fellow Danes Hyperdontia.
