**Playboyz** is a music project primarily associated with John Wijdoogen, who continues to produce and perform under this name. The group originally began when John Wijdoogen and Sander Kapper met at a local record store, both passionate about the harder styles of music. They quickly gained recognition with their first release, even performing at prestigious venues like the Heineken Music Hall. However, Sander Kapper left the group in 2006 due to ear damage, and John Wijdoogen continued solo, developing a unique sound and performing at major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Defqon 1. He has released music on notable labels like Zoo Records and Dirty Workz, and has remixed tracks for artists like Coone and Dr. Rude.
