Lea Maria Fries is a versatile and talented Swiss vocalist, born in 1989. She began her musical journey with piano lessons before shifting her focus to voice at age 14. Fries pursued her education in jazz vocals at the Lucerne School of Music, graduating with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Her career highlights include participating in the Montreux Jazz Festival as the youngest Swiss artist in the semi-finals, alongside a judging panel that included Quincy Jones. Lea Maria Fries is known for blending jazz, pop, rock, electronic, and black music styles, often incorporating improvisation into her performances. She has collaborated with various artists, including Julien Herné and Gauthier Toux, and has projects such as the duo et.nu and her jazz quartet 22° Halo.
