Ohyda

Ohyda is a dark hardcore punk band from Lublin, Poland, formed in early 2015 by former members of the band Alert! Alert!. Known for their intense and atmospheric sound, Ohyda blends elements of psychedelic, postpunk, and hardcore punk, drawing inspiration from influential Polish acts like Siekiera, Tragiedia, and Atak. Their music features abrasive guitars, reverberated and tormented vocals, and a mix of aggressive and doomy tones, creating a fresh take on hardcore punk with deep emotional and social undercurrents. Their self-titled debut album, released on the label La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, showcases this distinctive style with tracks that are both intense and melodically nuanced.
