Mathieu Clement

Mathieu Clement is a talented Luxembourg-born drummer and vibraphonist who started his musical journey at the age of seven. Since 2019, he has been honing his craft at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln under notable teachers such as Jonas Burgwinkel and Robert Landfermann. He gained early recognition through participation in the JugendJazzOrchester NRW and the 2021 IASJ Meeting in Munich, and has studied with jazz greats like Greg Hutchinson and Joe Sanders. In 2022, he recorded his debut album *Coming Home* at the LOFT in Cologne, which showcases his vibrant and fresh jazz style. Mathieu has shared his energetic performances at prestigious venues including the Philharmonie du Luxembourg, Unterfahrt Jazz Club in Munich, and B-flat Berlin, earning a growing reputation in the European jazz scene.

His recent releases, including albums *FUME* (2024) and *Ruma* (2025), further highlight his development as a leading figure in contemporary jazz. Mathieu’s expressive drumming and compositional skills continue to captivate audiences and critics alike, marking him as one of the promising young artists to watch in jazz today.
