Emanuel Reiter

Emanuel Reiter is a German-Swiss singer-songwriter born in 1984 in Rosenheim, Germany, and now based between Zurich and St. Gallen in Switzerland. He grew up around Munich and started his musical journey as a pianist without formal training, later discovering the guitar during a trip to New Zealand. After working as a mechatronics technician at Bühler AG, he decided to fully pursue music, shifting from an initial band project to a solo career. Emanuel’s music is heartfelt pop with honest, poignant lyrics often performed in high German. His debut album, *Von guten & anderen Zeiten* (2017), reached number 38 in the Swiss album charts, and since then, he has released numerous singles like *Ich bin hier*, *Stark sein,* and *Wolken im Kopf*, which receive regular radio play in the German-speaking regions. Emanuel values live performances deeply, seeing them as special shared moments with his audience, and frequently tours Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where his warm and authentic folk-pop sound resonates with listeners.
