Gardeners

**Gardeners** is a modern indie folk duo formed by siblings River and Willow Green in the Pacific Northwest around 2018. Known for their lush, nature-inspired soundscapes, the pair blends cozy acoustic instrumentation with subtle electronic textures, creating music that feels like a walk through a misty forest. Their lyrics often explore themes of growth, quiet resilience, and finding beauty in life’s small moments, as heard in tracks like “sprouts come out” and “Along the Heather.”

Gardeners gained a grassroots following after their 2019 debut EP *Seedlings* and have steadily released introspective, earthy tunes like “Up a Mountain” and “Fine Print.” Their 2023 album *Cuts* (featuring the haunting title track) marked a slight shift toward more experimental production while keeping their signature organic warmth. The duo often tours with a rotating cast of musician friends, maintaining an unpretentious, community-focused vibe that mirrors their down-to-earth songwriting.
