Mae Challis

Mae Challis is a talented singer-songwriter originally born in Sittingbourne, Kent, who grew up on the Isle of Man from the age of seven. She developed her musical skills early on, with support from her mother and a dedicated piano teacher, Ruth Solomon. Mae has a versatile musical background, having played guitar, piano, and drums, and has been active in the local music scene for years, including performing with bands and busking around her hometown. She made a notable impression as a young artist by winning the "Next Big Thing" competition at the Gaiety Theatre and has released her first EP titled "RELEASED," showcasing her skills in vocals, guitar, and keyboards.

In 2024, Mae gained wider recognition by performing for four consecutive days at the famous Glastonbury Festival's Tap House, an achievement she proudly attributes to her perseverance and the encouragement from her family, especially her mum. After moving to Southampton in 2023, Mae has continued to build her profile by supporting various local bands. She has expressed gratitude for her musical journey and support network and continues to engage with her fans through her dedicated Facebook page.
