Gaba Cannal

Gaba Cannal, born Khaka Yena, is a South African DJ and record producer who's been making waves in the music scene for nearly a decade. Hailing from Daveyton, this talented artist has been instrumental in popularizing AmaPiano music. Gaba kicked off his career at 18, initially as a hip-hop producer, before finding his groove in the house and AmaPiano genres.

In 2014, Gaba Cannal dropped his debut EP "Abundance" and launched his own record label, Gaba Cannal Music Pty-Ltd. Since then, he's been consistently blessing fans with his unique sound, releasing multiple EPs and albums like "Between Emotions," "Amapiano Legacy," and "Visionary Episode 1." Known for hits like "Umhlaba Wonke," Gaba has shared stages with both local and international acts, cementing his status as one of South Africa's most decorated producers and DJs.
