AWS (Another Way of Struggle) is a Hungarian alternative metal/post-hardcore band known for blending raw energy with melodic intensity. Formed in Budapest in 2006, the group—fronted by charismatic vocalist Örs Siklósi until his passing in 2021—gained international attention after representing Hungary at Eurovision 2018 with their explosive track "Viszlát nyár." Their recent releases like "2359" and "Odaát" showcase their signature mix of shout-along choruses, djent-inspired riffage, and atmospheric electronics, while tracks like "Park (Live)" capture their reputation as a fierce live act. Though rooted in metalcore, their music often weaves in poetic Hungarian lyrics and unexpected textures, maintaining their status as one of Hungary’s most dynamic rock exports.
