Voces Veracruzanas is a Mexican folk music group that specializes in the traditional music of the Veracruz region. The group was founded in 1997 and has since released over 20 albums. Their music is characterized by its use of traditional instruments such as the jarana, the requinto, and the harp, as well as its lively and upbeat rhythms. Voces Veracruzanas has toured extensively throughout Mexico and the United States, and has performed at major festivals such as the Festival Internacional Cervantino and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival.
