Wrath of Belial

Wrath of Belial is a ferocious **Danish death metal** band from Aarhus, born in 2015 out of the underground scene and the ashes of Pariah Syndicate—a crew that formed back in 2007, snagged the Danish Metal Contest on their first gig, and dropped a killer EP called *And Blood Shall Rain From Heaven* while sharing stages with heavyweights like Decapitated and Artillery. They shifted to a brutal, melodic death/thrash sound, unleashing their debut *Bloodstained Rebellion* in 2017 to solid buzz, blending razor riffs from influences like Aborted, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, and Mastodon.

Fast-forward to 2025, and these guys hit back harder with sophomore beast *Embers of Dead Empires* on CDN Records, a 10-track onslaught mixed by Mendel bij de Leij (Aborted) and featuring session firepower from Bastian Thusgaard (Soilwork) on drums and Alex Bossen (OXX) on leads—now locked in live with guitarist Richardt Olsen and drummer Bent Bisballe Nyeng. Fronted by the demonic roars of Kasper B. Hornstrup, guitars from Jonas L. Thomsen, and bass by Anders F.S. Mikkelsen, it's all about slamming human cruelty and societal rot with breakneck brutality and hooks that stick.
