Unni Boksasp Ensemble is a musical group rooted in the folk traditions of Norway, particularly around Nordmøre in central Norway. Led by Unni Boksasp, a talented folksinger, composer, and arranger, the ensemble was formed in 2006. She has a strong educational background, having studied at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm and other institutions. Her work includes fresh arrangements of folk songs and original compositions, earning her significant recognition, such as being a Norwegian national champion of traditional singing in 2010 and 2011, and winning a Norwegian Grammy Award and Norwegian Folk Music Award for her album "Karamell" in 2010.
