Hamsa is an Israeli girl group that originally formed in 2001, known for their catchy pop sound infused with Middle Eastern elements. The group quickly gained popularity in Israel with their breakthrough single "Chayav Lamoot Alai" in 2003, followed by their self-titled debut album. Consisting of five members—Naama Atal, Esther (Eti) Castro, Pazit Hermon, Carmi Shimron, and Yasmin Suissa—they were often compared to the Israeli version of the Spice Girls. Though they disbanded in 2004, Hamsa reunited in 2024 to compete in the eleventh season of the Israeli music competition show *HaKokhav HaBa* .
