Carl Falk

Carl Falk is a Swedish songwriter, record producer, and musician born on August 17, 1980 in Stockholm. He's known for his work with major pop artists, having co-written and produced hits for One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and Avicii, among others. Falk got his start at The Location production company in 2002 before striking out on his own in 2007. He later formed Kinglet Studios with fellow producer Rami Yacoub.

Some of Falk's biggest successes include co-writing One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Live While We're Young," as well as Nicki Minaj's "Starships". He's also worked extensively with Avicii, co-writing tracks like "Without You" and helping complete the late DJ's posthumous album "Tim". Falk's guitar-driven production style has become something of a trademark in his work.
