Ary Juliyant

Ary Juliyant is a folk and ballad musician from Lombok, Indonesia. He is known for blending traditional elements with powerful, people-centered lyrics in his music. Born in Bandung but based in Lombok, Ary Juliyant has been active since around 2005. He refers to his musical approach as "guerrilla music," which reflects his unconventional and engaging style. One of his notable projects involves "silaturahmi antargunung" (silence between mountains), a concept he introduced in his musical journey. Ary Juliyant has also been influential in introducing bluegrass music to Indonesia through his group, Ary Juliyant & The Badjigur Bluegrass.
