Scare Dem Crew

Scare Dem Crew is a Jamaican dancehall group formed in 1995, initially known as the Seaview Family. The group's name was later changed to Scare Dem Crew, inspired by the single "Big Guns Scare Dem" by their mentor, Bounty Killer. The lineup included Elephant Man, Harry Toddler, Nitty Kutchie, and Boom Dandimite, among others. They gained popularity in the Caribbean and beyond, known for their energetic live performances and distinctive staccato-style toasting. The group enjoyed significant success in the late 1990s but eventually disbanded as members pursued solo careers.

Scare Dem Crew's music featured a lively blend of dancehall rhythms and was characterized by their vibrant live shows, which often included colorful outfits and energetic stage antics. Despite their success, the group members eventually parted ways to focus on individual projects. Elephant Man and Harry Toddler went on to achieve notable solo success, while others continued to contribute to the dancehall scene in various capacities.
