Marc Martel
Marc Martel is a Canadian singer and musician best known for his uncanny vocal similarity to Freddie Mercury, the legendary frontman of Queen. He gained widespread attention after submitting a cover of "Somebody to Love" to a contest held by the official Queen Extravaganza project—so much so that the video quickly went viral and eventually earned him a spot fronting the official Queen tribute show produced by the band’s original drummer, Roger Taylor.
Martel has since built a successful solo career, releasing original music and holiday albums, while continuing to perform Queen classics around the world. Notably, his vocals were featured in the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, blending with original Freddie Mercury tracks and providing vocal performances for scenes requiring Mercury’s signature sound. With a powerful range and a passion for classic rock, Martel bridges nostalgia with originality, earning fans from every generation.
