Jane Chapman

Jane Chapman is a British harpsichordist celebrated for her dynamic performances and adventurous programming, often bridging the gap between early music and contemporary works. Known for her virtuosic command of historical repertoire as well as her collaborations with living composers, Chapman has a reputation for redefining the possibilities of the harpsichord. She’s released a number of critically acclaimed recordings, including explorations of 17th-century manuscripts like the Bauyn Manuscript and rare works by composers such as Froberger, Duphly, and Couperin.
