Troy Miller

Troy Miller is a seriously talented multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer who's worked with a huge range of artists, from Laura Mvula and Jamie Cullum to Gregory Porter and Amy Winehouse. He's known for his incredibly diverse musical style, blending jazz, funk, and world music influences into something truly unique. He's not afraid to experiment and push boundaries, which you can hear in his own projects as well as his collaborations. Beyond playing drums, he's a skilled pianist and guitarist, often incorporating these instruments into his richly layered compositions.

Recently, Miller has been exploring the world of orchestral and nature-inspired music, collaborating with the legendary Stewart Copeland on several projects, including "Wild Concerto," "Indri and the Asian Barred Owl," and "White Throated Sparrow (Is Happy On the Glacier)." He also released his own solo album, "40 Days," and collaborated on the intriguing "Penguins in the Wind of Antarctica." His earlier work includes the funky, hard-hitting "Shovelhead Mechanic," showcasing his versatility and constant drive to explore new sonic landscapes.
