Utah Saints

Utah Saints are a British electronic music duo formed in the early 1990s, consisting of Tim Garbutt and Jez Willis. Known for their innovative use of samples, they were pioneers in blending house music with elements of pop, rock, and hip-hop. Their breakthrough came with the 1991 single “What Can You Do for Me,” which sampled both Annie Lennox and Eurythmics. The track became a UK hit and was followed by other club anthems like “Something Good” and “Believe in Me,” both of which showcased their knack for turning unexpected samples into dance floor gold.

Throughout their career, Utah Saints built a reputation for energetic DJ sets and remixes, and they remained influential in the UK dance scene well beyond their early chart success. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1992, and after a few quiet years, they returned with new music and remixes that kept their sound fresh and relevant. Even decades after their debut, Utah Saints continue to be respected figures in electronic music, celebrated for their genre-blending creativity and pioneering production techniques.
