Neopercusión

Neopercusión is a Spanish percussion ensemble founded in 1994 that has become a key figure in contemporary music, known for its innovative and experimental approach. Their performances blend a wide range of musical styles such as contemporary, intuitive, experimental electronic, ethnic, fusion, and even contemporary opera and theater, often incorporating new technologies, video, and avant-garde staging to create unique and engaging experiences. Over three decades, Neopercusión has established itself as an international benchmark for contemporary Spanish percussion, actively participating in major festivals and cultural events across Spain and Europe.

They have released several albums on their own label, Kusion Records, showcasing diverse repertoires from Hispanic-American percussion music to experimental projects. Their work demonstrates a strong commitment to pushing the boundaries of percussion music and offering audiences fresh perspectives on contemporary art and sound. The group also organizes the Festival mADRID aCTUAL, which includes events like the Konekt@rte and Ritmo Vital cycles, fostering new music and interdisciplinary artistic expressions.
