Reptilians From Andromeda

Reptilians From Andromeda is a vibrant Turkish garage punk band from Istanbul, formed in 2013 by Aybike Çelik Özbey (vocals) and Tolga Özbey (guitar). The band emerged after Tolga disbanded his previous long-running band, Rashit. Initially, the duo began experimenting with home recordings, eventually incorporating other members like Merve Ertuğrul (bass) and Taylan Turan (drums) into their lineup. They have released several EPs and albums, including "Doomsday" and "Must Be Destroyed!", which showcase their unique blend of melodic new wave punk with a garage rock edge. Their sound is often described as a potent mix of influences from bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Sonic Youth.

The band's creative process is deeply rooted in their personal relationship and lifestyle, often infusing their music with themes of love and rebellion. Reptilians From Andromeda have gained recognition in the underground punk scene, both locally and internationally, with releases on various labels such as Spirit Goth Records and Prof Sny Records.
