2Z

2Z (pronounced "TuZi") is a South Korean band known for their vibrant blend of rock and pop influences. The group made their debut on January 14, 2020, under FirstOne Entertainment. They quickly distinguished themselves in the K-pop industry by being one of the few bands to focus on a rock sound amidst a landscape dominated by idol groups. 2Z is comprised of four members: Hojin as the lead vocalist, Jiseob as the guitarist, Bumjun on bass, and Zunon as the drummer.

The band has carved out a niche by participating significantly in original soundtracks for Korean television dramas, showcasing their musical versatility and ability to connect with a narrative. Some of their notable contributions include tracks like "Do Not Disturb," "Kissable Lips" for various TV soundtracks, and their energetic anthem "Fighting 4 my dream," part of the soundtrack for the drama '걸스 인 더 케이지' (Girls in the Cage). They released their music compilation "Reworks," likely indicating their exploration and reinterpretation of previous works. The song "OST (Plz Luv Me Again)" also emphasizes their consistent engagement with the realm of drama soundtracks, an avenue that displays both their musical talent and their story-telling prowess through song. Their sound is a fresh and modern embodiment of rock within the highly competitive and dynamic sphere of South Korean music.
