Sunny Intervals
Sunny Intervals is a solo music project led by Andy Hudson, a veteran of the British indie pop scene. Hudson was previously the songwriter and co-leader of the London quintet Pocketbooks, which was active until around 2012. Following the dissolution of Pocketbooks, Hudson started Sunny Intervals, releasing several albums including *Rooftops* in 2012, *Step into Spring* in 2014, and *Sunrise* in 2016. After an eight-year hiatus, Sunny Intervals returned with the album *Swept Away* in 2025, a soft mix of indiepop, soft rock, and folk rock. The project has been associated with a variety of genres, including indie pop, jangle pop, and chamber pop, often evoking a gentle, familiar sound reminiscent of acts like Belle & Sebastian.
