Sepalcure

Sepalcure is an electronic music duo formed in 2010, consisting of Travis Stewart, better known as Machinedrum, and Praveen Sharma, who operates under the alias Braille. The two initially connected over their shared passion for Chicago house, UK garage, and the burgeoning bass music scenes, bringing together a melting pot of influences that helped to define their unique sound. Their sound is characterized by a blend of lush soundscapes, intricate rhythms, and emotive vocal samples, finding a balance between the danceable and the introspective.

The duo's debut self-titled EP, "Love Pressure," released in 2010, quickly garnered attention for its soulful blend of bass and beat music elements. Following the success of their successive EPs such as "Fleur" and subsequent remix collections, Sepalcure released their first full-length album, also titled "Sepalcure," in 2011, to critical acclaim. Their attention to detail and ability to craft atmospheric yet club-friendly tracks became a hallmark of their sound. After a brief hiatus, the duo reunited to produce their 2016 album "Folding Time," which was accompanied by multiple remixes and additional singles like "Fight for Us" and "Not Gonna Make It," continuing to cement their place in the electronic music realm by constantly evolving their synthesis of genres and pushing the boundaries of their production capabilities.
