Satomi Fukunaga

Satomi Fukunaga is a former Japanese idol and singer, born on January 26, 1967, in Tokyo, Japan. She was one of the original members of the popular idol group Onyanko Club, which gained significant attention in the 1980s. Fukunaga made her solo debut in May 1986 with the single "Kaze no Invitation," which reached number one on the Oricon chart. She released several successful singles, including "Heart no Ignition" and "Bokutachi no Runaway," and albums like "Splash" and "Sambo." Her music career was marked by appearances in various TV shows and dramas, such as "Sukeban Deka III," where she played the role of Leia. Fukunaga retired from the entertainment industry in November 1988 due to health reasons.

After her retirement, Fukunaga transitioned into an office worker and later became involved in the management side of the entertainment industry. She married in 1994 and eventually became a director of the entertainment agency Office Nisshin. Her music legacy continues to be celebrated through compilation albums like "My Kore Ction Satomi Fukunaga Best" and "My Collection Lite Satomi Fukunaga," which highlight her contributions to Japanese pop culture in the 1980s.
