Vokodlok

Vokodlok is a Black Metal band from Timisoara, Romania, formed in the year 2000. The band was initially composed of GhiauR, Strigoi, Blestemat, and Claudiu, with Freak later taking over the drums. Their early work includes the demo "Unchain the Wolf," released in 2000, which features aggressive Black Metal tracks inspired by the dark side of humanity. In 2003, they released their full-length album "Mass Murder Genesis," which explores themes of crime and anti-Christianity through raw sounds and malefic lyrics. This album was followed by international promotion and live performances alongside notable bands like Vader and Hecate Enthroned.

Over the years, Vokodlok has undergone lineup changes, with Shaitaan on vocals and Urmuz on bass joining the band. After a period of inactivity, they released the EP "Oracle's Fury" in 2020, which delves into ancient Greek philosophy and human emotions. Recently, the band announced their second full-length album, "The Egregious Being," set for release on March 14th, 2025, accompanied by a mini-tour across Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia.
