LEVEL UP, real name Sonya Broner, is a Los Angeles-born DJ and producer who began her musical journey as a battle DJ, honing her skills under the mentorship of master turntablist Rob Swift after moving to Brooklyn, New York. Known for her energetic dubstep style, she draws inspiration from legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff, Funkmaster Flex, and Grandmaster Flash, and was captivated by electronic music artists such as Rusko, Caspa, Skream, and Porter Robinson. Transitioning from vinyl battle DJing to electronic music, LEVEL UP quickly gained recognition in the dubstep scene, performing at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, and Electric Forest, and releasing music on notable labels like Deadbeats, GRVDNCR, and Buygore. Her storytelling background as a former theatre actress shines through her powerful, heavy-hitting tracks filled with distinctive bass wobbles and complex rhythms, and she has headlined tours such as the Summoning Tour in 2021 and the Spellbound Tour.

She is known for recent releases like *Power (feat. Grabbitz)* (2024) and the *Sapphire Souls EP* (2025), continually pushing her production craft within the bass and dubstep genres.
