The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band that rose to international fame during the early 2010s. Formed in 2009, the group consists of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes. Known for their pop-centric hits infused with a danceable, electronic edge, The Wanted captured the hearts of fans around the world with their catchy melodies and dynamic group charisma. Their breakthrough single, "All Time Low," hit number one on the UK Singles Chart, and was swiftly followed by a number of chart-toppers including "Glad You Came" and "Chasing the Sun."

The band released three studio albums, "The Wanted" (2010), "Battleground" (2011), and "Word of Mouth" (2013), before announcing a hiatus in 2014 to pursue solo endeavors. Despite their temporary split, The Wanted left an indelible mark on the pop scene. In 2021, they made a heartfelt comeback with their greatest hits compilation, "Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits," which celebrated their legacy and included the poignant tribute "Gold Forever (For Tom)," honoring their bandmate Tom Parker after his diagnosis with an inoperable brain tumor. The album also featured acoustic and remixed versions of fan favorites, as well as live renditions, affirming their versatility and enduring appeal. Sadly, on March 30, 2022, Tom Parker passed away, but the band's music continues to resonate, capturing both the euphoric highs and the emotional depths of their journey together.
