Aborym is an Italian industrial black metal band known for blending harsh black metal elements with electronic and industrial sounds, creating an aggressive yet innovative fusion that has garnered them a distinct place within the extreme metal scene. Formed in 1992 by Malfeitor Fabban, the band initially tread on the more traditional black metal route but gradually evolved to include a wide array of electronic influences. Moving into the 2010s, albums like "Shifting.Negative" and "Hostile" showcased Aborym's continued evolution and willingness to explore the dark intersections of industrial noise and extreme metal, while releases such as "Something For Nobody, Vol. 1" and "Radiophobia" further experimented with textures and the deconstruction of their sound. With a career spanning over three decades, Aborym has positioned itself as a formidable force, unafraid to challenge the conventions of black metal and electronic music.
