徐崇育 is a Taiwanese jazz pianist and composer who has been making waves in the music scene for his unique blend of traditional jazz with elements of Taiwanese folk music. His music is often described as "lyrical" and "evocative," and he has been praised for his ability to create beautiful melodies that stay with the listener long after the music has stopped.
Born in Taipei in 1976, Xu began playing piano at the age of five. He studied classical music at the Taipei National University of the Arts, but it was when he discovered jazz that he truly found his calling. He has since released several albums, including "Homeland," which was nominated for a Golden Melody Award in 2016. Xu has also performed at numerous jazz festivals around the world, and he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Wynton Marsalis and Herbie Hancock.
