Agnieszka Rehlis

Agnieszka Rehlis is a renowned Polish operatic mezzo-soprano, celebrated for her powerful performances across both opera and concert stages. Born on April 12, 1983, in Jelenia Góra, she graduated from the Academy of Music in Wrocław under the tutelage of Professor Barbara Ewa Werner. From 1996 to 2007, Rehlis was a soloist at the Wrocław Opera, where she portrayed significant roles in operas by Mozart, Verdi, and others. Since becoming a freelance artist in 2007, she has focused on concert repertoire, performing works by Bach, Penderecki, and more, in major European and international venues.

Rehlis is particularly noted for her collaborations with Krzysztof Penderecki, participating in premieres and recordings of his works, including the Grammy-winning *Penderecki Conducts Penderecki*. Her opera career highlights include roles in Verdi's *Aida* and *Il trovatore*, as well as Mieczysław Weinberg's *The Passenger*. She has performed at prestigious venues like the Mariinsky Theatre, Grand Theatre-National Opera in Warsaw, and the Opernhaus Zürich. Her versatility and vocal range have earned her acclaim in both classical and contemporary music scenes.
