Debanjan Biswas is a talented composer and musician born and raised in Kailashahar, Tripura, India. Initially, he had dreams of becoming a professional tennis player, but at the age of 16, his passion shifted towards music. This change led him to explore music more deeply, and he went on to win notable competitions like the All India Fingerstyle Guitar Competition and Bengaluru's Spring Fest. His journey into music was further solidified by the success of his debut single, "Sahara," which resonated globally during the COVID-19 pandemic. This success inspired him to create an album that reflects the rich diversity of global music.
Biswas's recent projects include the upcoming album "Aagman: A World Symphony," which features collaborations with renowned artists such as Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Rakesh Chaurasia, and others. He has also released the Bengali song "Aachi Aami," which earned him prestigious awards like the Clef Music Award for Best Regional Folk Song. His music often comes from personal and organic experiences, with some melodies emerging in his dreams. Biswas's work is marked by a deep exploration of India's diverse cultures and a desire to connect people across different backgrounds through music.
