Strong Water

Strong Water is an Americana/folk band hailing from Virginia, formed in 2013 on a university campus. Initially a duo, they have since evolved into a four-piece ensemble known for their energetic sound, which combines elements like howling banjos, two-part vocal harmonies, and driving drums. In 2014, they released their debut EP, "Aftermath," which was followed by a self-titled album in 2016. This album led to touring opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic, where they opened for notable bands like The SteelDrivers and Judah & the Lion. Their sophomore album, "Bearfoot," was released in 2018, featuring the single "If I Was," which gained significant regional radio play and streaming success. More recently, they released "The Hills" in April 2022, an album that explores themes of life's contrasts, inspired by the beauty of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Strong Water continues to be active in the regional music scene, refining their sound and captivating audiences with their unique blend of folk and Americana music.

Their recent releases, including "Spare Bones," "Whiskey Like Wine," "Lonely Man," and others, showcase their continuous growth and dedication to their craft. Strong Water's music has been featured on various independent radio stations and publications, highlighting their skill in crafting diverse and engaging records.
