Michaël Fortunati is an Italo disco and Eurobeat singer who rose to fame in the mid-1980s, particularly in Japan where he gained a dedicated following. Born Pierre Michel Nigro in Italy and raised in France, Fortunati became best known for his 1986 hit single “Give Me Up,” which became a dancefloor favorite and achieved notable success in the Japanese music market.
