Olga Guillot

Olga Guillot was a Cuban singer known as the "Queen of Bolero." Born in 1922 in Santiago de Cuba, she became one of the most beloved voices in Latin American music, bringing passion and emotion to the bolero genre. Her career took off in the 1940s and 1950s, and she became famous for her dramatic vocal delivery and heartfelt interpretations of romantic songs. Hits like "Miénteme" and "La gloria eres tú" cemented her status as an icon. Guillot left Cuba after the revolution and continued her successful career internationally, particularly in Mexico and the United States. She remained a beloved figure in Latin music until her passing in 2010.
