Joe Lynn Turner

Joe Lynn Turner is a powerhouse vocalist best known for his work with Rainbow, Deep Purple, and Yngwie Malmsteen. Born in 1951, Turner made a name for himself in the late '70s and '80s with his soulful, melodic approach to hard rock and metal. His big break came when he joined Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow in 1980, lending his voice to hits like “I Surrender” and “Stone Cold.” After his tenure with Rainbow, he briefly fronted Deep Purple and later collaborated with guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen.

Beyond his work with legendary bands, Turner has built a strong solo career, releasing numerous albums that showcase his signature sound blending rock, blues, and AOR influences. His voice remains as powerful as ever, and he continues to tour and record, proving that classic rock still has plenty of life left in it.
