Royal Blood is a British rock duo formed in Brighton in 2013, consisting of Mike Kerr on lead vocals and bass guitar, and Ben Thatcher on drums. Gaining recognition for their gritty and powerful sound, which melds together elements of hard rock, blues, and garage rock, they've carved out a distinctive niche in modern rock music with just bass and drums, setting their minimalist instrumentation against high-energy riffs and rhythms.

The band's self-titled debut album was released in 2014, quickly catapulting them to fame with its raw intensity and earning them several awards and a fervent fanbase.
