SOUL SCREAM

**Soul Scream** is a Japanese hip hop group formed in 1994, consisting of rappers HAB I SCREAM, E.G.G. MAN, and DJ CELORY. They are considered one of the pioneering acts in the Japanese hip hop scene. Their debut album, *THE "DEEP"*, was released in 1996 and features appearances from notable artists like Zeebra, K Dub Shine, and Rhymester. Over the years, Soul Scream has released several albums, including *The Positive Gravity: ~案とヒント~* in 1999 and *Future is Now* in 2002. After an 18-year hiatus, they returned with new music, releasing singles like *Love, Peace & Happiness* in 2020 and *TOu-KYOu 2021* in 2022, which featured collaborations with Zeebra, K Dub Shine, and Rhymester.

Their recent releases include *DNA* and *Boomerang*, showcasing their continued influence in the Japanese hip hop scene. Soul Scream's music often blends energetic beats with socially conscious lyrics, contributing to their enduring popularity in Japan and beyond. Their discography also includes EPs and live albums, such as *TOu-KYOu* and *Tour 2002 Future is Now with Osaka Monaurail & Special Guests*.
