Sara Bareilles is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and author who has captured the hearts of listeners with her soulful piano-driven ballads and powerful vocals. Born on December 7, 1979, Bareilles shot to fame with her 2007 hit single "Love Song," which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her career has been marked by a series of critically acclaimed albums, including "Little Voice," "Kaleidoscope Heart," and the Grammy-nominated "The Blessed Unrest."

Renowned for her storytelling and emotional transparency, Sara's 2019 album "Amidst the Chaos" reflects her deep introspective songwriting. Beyond the recording studio, she further showcased her versatility by composing the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical "Waitress," for which she received a Tony Award nomination. Her performance of "She Used to Be Mine" from the musical has been especially revered. In 2020, she released "More Love - Songs from Little Voice Season One," a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ series "Little Voice," which she co-produced and for which she composed original music. Most recently, her involvement in the 2022 Broadway revival of "Into the Woods" as the Baker's Wife, and her rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star" for "Disney 100" have exemplified her dynamic range and continued influence in the world of music and beyond.
